Getting to know me and my Purpose

ABOUT THE COUNTRY GIRL BEHIND

ADVENTURES OF BLOGGING

AND

THE INSIGHTS OF A BLOGGING BUSINESS

My name is Lisa Mingo, I was not always a country girl, I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, but now live in a small town in Arkansas, since 2011. I knew in my heart that I would love living the country life, and I do. My awesome hard-working husband and I, got married in 2014, we share a total of nine kids. Our oldest is thirty-four, with the youngest being eleven. We still have three at home that are still in school. My husband and I chose for me to stay home to properly raise the last three.
I established my blog at the beginning of 2017, and I love it.

My purpose is to encourage other women to learn to become a business owner while making money on the side or full-time. Motherhood is hard enough while working a full-time job. I know, I had to experience it on the front end of being a single parent before 2011, of 3 sons, working full-time while attending college for many years. But God willing I did it!
Prior to moving to Arkansas I was a co-owner of a business in California. I understand the ups and downs of owning a business. You get out of it, what you put into it. Staying committed, focused, and an open mind is important.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO FIND HERE

Guidance for other women to develop an effortless way to make money by showing those that want to learn how to work from home. That is right, my goal is to give the tools that you will need to enjoy owning your own business and run it out of your home. No more having to get the kids ready in the morning, only to drop them off at a daycare or school, then rush to get to your day job. Then having to rush home after to get meals on the table, kids homework completed, clean up dishes, hear how everyone’s day went, and so on.

You know what I mean.

Simplify your day, by not having to rush here and there. Take the time to actually raise your kids instead of the daycare.(I hated that feeling as a parent) You will be able to work at your business on your time and not for the pockets of an employer. I am not saying it is an easy task but, I would rather be exhausted from the work I put into MY business instead of someone else’s!

Focus on working hard for yourself, playing your cards right, while being there for your family.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND WHILE BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS

I have met interesting people from all over the world that are so eager to help. When I started my online business I found that there were so many helpful people. From Bluehost representatives while building my website, to bloggers in the Facebook groups I joined, which you can join also.

That is what we do here, help one another.

Another thing you will find while building your business, is all the information that is available to you to help you. The tools that are out on the Web now just to name a few are

  • How to find your product or ‘niche’ that you want to produce
  • How to build your email list
  • What is Affiliate marketing? Do I want to use it on my blog?
  • How to increase the sales of my personal products?
  • How to write an e-book? Do I even want to write one?
  • Podcast? Webinars? What are these?

The information can be overbearing to those that are just starting out. But do not give up on yourself and your dream of someday owning your OWN business. Lets do this together.
